Accounting Manager
Role Purpose
The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for all transactional and general accounting processes, reporting and internal control within the KONI B.V. Group. In addition, he/she performs and assists with skilled analytic reviews and reports.
Key Accountabilities
-
Able to set out a strategy to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
-
This includes, but is not limited to, optimizing processes through automation, implementing new tools and systems, optimizing the legal and tax structure, etc);
-
Manage the team of accounts payable and general accounting. Ensure development and engagement of the team;
-
IFRS compliant accounting for the group, adherence to KONI accounting manual as well as US GAAP, Dutch GAAP and tax laws;
-
Monthly accounting closing process, intercompany clearing, documentation of all internal (financial) controls, sign-off of KONI control statements, VAT/payroll tax accounting and filing;
-
Improve and maintain the internal control framework, including appropriate segregation of duties and execution of internal control procedures, including all controls in IT applications (ERP and other systems used in financial processes);

Statutory reporting including:
- IFRS consolidated financial statements for KONI Group (Dutch large companies structure regime applicable).
- Monthly consolidated reporting
- Standalone financial statements for all companies where required
- VAT filings.
- Bureau of Statistics filings.

Drive the process of all internal and external audits by planning the audit for all group entities, ensuring appropriate preparation, overseeing execution and ensuring timely follow up of findings;

Assist in the treasury and cashflow forecasting process;

Work with Legal to ensure any claim and warranty risks are accurately and fully provided in the financials;

Work with HR to ensure an accurate payroll administration and payroll cost accruals, including payment of payroll tax, social security premiums and pension premiums;

Drive continuous improvement through initiating and executing changes to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial information, tools, processes, analysis and organization;

Support the Site, Business Line and Global Function FP&A functions in understanding and analysing financial results and balance sheet items;
Essential
-
Capable of managing teams, processes and projects
-
Highly experienced and qualified in accounting process and accounting principles (IFRS and Dutch GAAP and US GAAP) as well as Tax law;

Strong drive to be ‘in control’ of all finance processes and a drive for process improvement;

Strong analytical skills;
-
Forward-thinking and ability to work with other teams;
-
Master degree in accounting, auditing & controlling education;
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in comparable roles;

Fluent in Dutch and English.
Desirable

Experience in a big 4 auditing firm;

Record of accomplishment in an international production company. Affinity with Supply chain / operations;

Good communicator to stakeholders in Business Lines, Central (HQ) Financing Teams and other regional finance teams;

Allround Quality Engineer (Junior)
Role Purpose
Working at KONI Headquarters in Oud-Beijerland, NL, the Allround Quality Engineer (Junior) role presents a unique opportunity to join a historic, innovative international brand.
The main tasks of the role are to check, test and measure parts, products and procedures to ensure that they meet technical standards and to prepare quality documentation.
QA Engineers are responsible for identifying technical problems, getting to the root of the problem and collaborating on the solution. This can be for materials supplied, internal processes or finished shock absorbers and customer complaints.
It is important that you pay attention to detail and consider all customer satisfaction indicators: product quality & safety, on-time delivery, response time for claims or problems and product experience.
KONI's quality team is a great mix of nationalities, young, old, experienced and willing to learn.
In this position you report directly to the KONI Quality Manager.
Key Accountabilities

Inspecting product materials and finished shock absorbers for non-conformities according to drawings and customer specific requirements

Auditing our systems and products based on ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 and ISO/TS 22163 requirements

Preparing and coordinating customer audits
-
Updating and maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements
-
Solve internal and customer problems by means of an 8D report.

Technical training at HBO level

Previous work experience as a quality engineer or similar position

Hands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

Thorough knowledge of technical documentation

Process Engineer
Role Purpose
Working at the KONI Headquarters in Oud-Beijerland, the Process Engineer role supports the business by taking responsibility for various projects together with the Quality and Application engineers, group leaders and operators. The Process Engineer role is responsible for time, information, costs, organizational productivity and quality.
Each project team usually consists of around 5 people and is composed of a multidisciplinary nature.
The duration of projects varies from one to six months.
Key Accountabilities

Gathering all necessary information and determining the requirement preconditions (product analysis, process analysis, market research production process)
-
Drawing up a quotation request (RFQ), plan of approach, program of requirements, goal and result of the project and planning in consultation with supervisor, production management and, if necessary, management
-
Searching for and analyzing potential (new) production technologies, conducting feasibility and manufacturability analyses
-
Drawing and ordering tooling and tools
-
Drawing up Work Instructions and Checklists
-
Setting up, conducting and reporting on experiments
-
Drafting and adjusting product process routings
-
Preparing the chosen solution for production by, among other things, specifying of new processes as part of the specification of new means of production
-
Changing the factory layout following the purchase of new ones production resources or process changes and/or optimization of production

Responsible for project administration and files. where there is during the process intensive communication takes place with the involved professional disciplines (R&D, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Sales and any external project partners)

Performing MSA (measurment system analyses)
Essential

You are in possession of a completed HBO / WO education in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering

1-2 years relevant work experience within process

Good analytical skills and advanced user of Excel

Knowledge of Solid works and Autocad
