Hydraulic Rebound

In an air suspension system the shock absorber generally limits the rebound stroke. KONI shock absorbers, therefore, have a built-in hydraulic rebound valve with spring. This rebound valve substantially increases the damping forces during the last 40 or 20 mm of the rebound stroke to prevent metal-to-metal contact (see the graph).

Dampers with hydraulic rebound in this catalogue can be recognized by the sign.
